In 2008 Velinda Wardell became the 6th female cinematographer to be awarded ACS Accreditation.
This allows her to display the letters ACS after her name.

Velinda’s work has been invited to screen at Camerimage, a festival that celebrates outstanding achievement in cinematography.

She has won multiple awards from the Australian Cinematographers Society.
